Jonathan J. Raymond earned his Juris Doctorate from Boston College. As a law student, he served as the Articles Editor for Boston College’s Intellectual Property & Technology Forum and completed a semester-long externship with the general counsel of Simmons College. Concurrent with his legal studies, Mr. Raymond completed a Masters of Arts in Higher Education Administration at Boston College’s Lynch School of Education.
Mr. Raymond graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, with majors in Economics and History. As an undergraduate, he volunteered with organizations like the Cornell Public Service Center. He also volunteered as an emergency medical technician for Cornell University EMS, and found great satisfaction serving the University community as a peer counselor for the Empathy Assistance and Referral Service (EARS).
After law school, Mr. Raymond volunteered at the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office. He completed its Justice Academy trial training program, which prepares new prosecutors to handle criminal jury trials. He later worked as a Deputy District Attorney at the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office and the Tehama County District Attorney’s Office. Mr. Raymond tried felony and misdemeanor jury trials in addition to other duties.
Mr. Raymond was born and raised in Los Angeles, where he earned his Eagle Scout rank and enjoyed the outdoors from the beach to the mountains. When not working for our clients, Mr. Raymond enjoys reading, music, and hiking.
