Kathryn Llaurado

Kate Llaurado earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin Law School in May 2016, where she graduated with Cum Laude honors and was a recipient of the Dean’s Academic Achievement Award. Ms. Llaurado was a Managing Editor of the Wisconsin Law Review. While at the University of Wisconsin Law School, Ms. Llaurado interned for the Honorable JoAnne Kloppenburg of the Wisconsin Court of Appeals. She also interned at Rheingold, Valet, Rheingold, McCartney & Giuffra LLP and Schiff Hardin LLP, both in New York City.

Ms. Llaurado is a “Double Badger,” graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2013, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Legal Studies. While at UW-Madison, she interned as a law clerk with numerous law firms and was active in a student-run organization that planned and facilitated community and campus outreach programs.

Ms. Llaurado’s experience offers a mixed background of legal knowledge including personal injury, products liability, business litigation, and equal rights employment litigation. She has assisted with numerous trials in both Wisconsin and California state court as well as a post-collision fuel fire trial in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas.

Ms. Llaurado was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Growing up, Ms. Llaurado played competitive ice hockey and soccer. Currently, she enjoys hiking, yoga, reading, and traveling.

She is currently admitted to practice in the state of Wisconsin, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin, the state of California, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California and a member of the State Bar of Minnesota.
