Following law school, Mr. Frankel worked with legendary trial attorney Dick Miller for 12 years. Richard worked on the Exxon Valdez oil spill.
Mr. Frankel has obtained multimillion-dollar recoveries for numerous individuals who have suffered personal injuries.
He has handled over a dozen appeals in the Fifth Circuit, the Texas Court of Appeals and the Texas Supreme Court and has won all but one.

Mr. Frankel represented several hundred former patients of the country’s 2nd largest hospital chain who were locked in psychiatric hospitals without cause to capture their insurance money. The case settled for approximately $100 million.
Mr. Frankel worked with Russ Reiner and his firm representing hundreds of patients who underwent unnecessary heart surgeries against Tenet, the 2nd largest owner of hospitals in the United States, and doctors who performed the surgeries. Mr. Frankel has been married to Elaine, a psychotherapist, for 25 years. They have one child Ryan, who is a first-year law student at the University of Texas.
